Hear me out... sexual desire causes a lot of problems, including (at its worse) rape, shyness, a competition to look better (14 year-olds putting on make-up an hour every day) fights between potential mates and all sorts of problems. If there weren't such a thing as sex, maybe people would be more likely to seek out real friendships not based on looks, and people who don't fit the norm wouldn't have to feel bad/pressure to meet societies' standards. What do you think? There seem to be enough ways to be happy without sex, but maybe we just can't because it feels so nice.
