College isn't working out for me and I have my sights set on the military. I've always wanted to join the service and now it is an opportune time. I may want to make the military a career choice to stand by. I've always wanted to have an Infantry MOS, Is that a good idea if I wanted to make the military a job forever? Just need a little advice.
The entitlement of being in the USMC is enough for me to get going. But it seems that the Army's bonuses & job opportunities could be worth it in the long run? Both line up pretty nice, but I seem to be committed to the Marines. I just want to make sure that'd be a good choice.
1) Which branch (Army or Marines) would benefit me in the long run?
...That is my main question?
I've looked at the benefits of both and that match up pretty good. Just need some input, preferably from people whom have been in the military.
Of course, I don't want anyone down talking one branch because one is better. Each one serves a purpose, I already know.
Any answers would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
