Would the fuel injection on the Suzuki VanVan improve its speed?

By the way, I'm not interested because I want to speed! I am asking this because the quoted top speed by various websites is 60 for the pre-07 models, and I would like a bike that could manage around 65 for occasional use on motorways.

Speed isn't important unless you're a bad driver. vans are not designed for racing and the brakes and suspension could be dangerous.

Look for better fuel consumption instead.

Almost all vehicles have fuel injection these days. It's how the manufacturers control the exhaust emissions to comply with the law. If you have an engine without fuel injection it would be exteremely expensive or even impossible to convert.

Probably, but not by much. It's a 125 designed for low to mid-range grunt, a commuter rather than a speed machine. All that fuel injection does for it really is enable it to be more accurately tuned and to keep that tune, which might result an a little more performance and better economy.

A good, simple air-cooled single which ought to plod on for years to come.
