my jeep came with factory AC, but doesn't work. i have no $$$ to fix it, so i just want to remove it all together. would taking the ac compressor out, save on gas mileage, cause its taking pounds off? would it be worth it?
in the long run you will increase mileage, but as warrior stated, you will need a shorter belt, could run you around $20, I personally would leave it on..but if you are really wanting to conserve fuel take it off!
