Would someone get cavities if they only ate meat?

Let's say an occassional vegetable or fruit could be added. I heard non humans like dogs don't get cavities because there's no sugar or sweets in their diet (including the gluclose in bread) also old human fossils show no cavities or tooth loss and their diets were all meat.

Not true. It was once thought that dogs don't get cavities, but they do. A diet high in sweets may be more likely to cause tooth decay, but it's primarily caused by bacteria. Also, all foods are broken down into sugars and starches, so even if you don't eat pure sugar, you still get it in your system, and that's where the bacteria get their food source.
