The essay question asks 'what role did religious belief play in the negotiations between Charles ! and his subjects. I have had to choose two different sources to analyse, and incorporate them into an essay. The question required me to consider the relative importance religious belief was to the outbreak and progress of the War of the Three Kingdoms. I had 1200 words to do this, and have found it very complicated given the tight word limit, to be able to explain things as comprehensively as I would have liked. I would be grateful if someone would look at it and see if they understand what I am trying to say.
