No. I really doubted they actually loved each other. They were just a couple of teenagers. I think they were only in the first stage of love. Infatuation.

NO WAY. If you read the story carefully, you might find that they weren't really in love with each other. They were young teenagers whose parents were forcing them into lives they didn't want. So, they found someone captivatingly attractive to use as an escape from their real lives. Of course, they were really just in lust with each other, rather than love. Well, that's how I see it, anyway.
