On Sunday I ate a carrot out of a relative's garden. Almost immediately my mouth felt tingly and weird. I also drank 2 big glasses of strawberry lemonade and had a helping of a spinach and strawberry salad with a very acidic dressing. It is 2 days later and my mouth still feels tingly (sides of my mouth, my tongue, and insides of my lips). There's what looks like mild hives on the insides of my cheeks (very mild).
I looked online and seems as though I have OAS. My mouth often itches after eating carrots, but it has NEVER lasted this long.
Is this possible, or am I overlooking something?
