i feel like my honda civic ex 97 4 dr vtec stickshift is not giving me all the power that it should. When i bought it didn't have the custom intake and since i bought it, i have been using it without anything such as a custom intake or something to pull air. So i would like to know if this could be the reason why i feel im loosing hp. And like around how much would i been loosing?

i wouldn't take it to a dyno unless its modified but it most likely ur getting used to the speed and u want to move up to a fast car, im like that with all my cars. just but a little bit more cash into ur civic to boost up the speed. u can try taking the back seat out, like a weight reduction, or just buy ur self a lightweight flywheel and you'll be revving up a lot faster and you'll notice the difference for sure

Well if it's a real Cold Air Intake you should gain at least 1-2 HP, but you really wouldn't notice a difference. If it's a ghetto rigged Intake then you may be losing that 1-2 HP instead of gaining it as well as MPG.
