would mentioning that you like anime be an automatic turn off if i told a girl?

i like sports, family guys and stuff like that, but i also really like anime a lot. would it just
be better if i didnt mention it or what? a teenage girls advice would be much appreciated
 
Well, it all depends on the girl, I guess? I doubt she'd judge you on THAT alone. I'm a sixteen year old girl, and I think it's cool, because I also like anime.
 
You should mention it, because you want a girl to like you for who you are, and if a girl likes you she will accept whatever you like!! And if she doesn't shes not right for you:)
 
You would be surprised on how many girls like anime and I'm not talking about the weird ones that wear cat ears everywhere lol.... when my boyfriend told me he liked anime and I told him i did too he was surprised because apparently I don't look like the type of girl that would. I would just tell them and if they don't like it well they don't deserve you then.
