...egress windows ? we have been renting a home built in the mid 50s this house was newly remolded with in the last year. this house has also been on the market and sold within the last year. I had leased the house and it had bed advertised a five bed room with two bed rooms down stairs none of which had egress windows. the land lord knew we intended on use the two rooms down stairs as bed rooms. did the land lord break any laws by doing this?
