im a 21 year old female, im 5ft5 and currently weigh 202lbs
2 weeks ago i started jogging - i do 0.85miles (just happens to be the length of the route i take) every day and it takes about 15 Min's - i tend to alternate between running and power walking to catch my breath (+ i have damaged tendons in my right knee so constant running can be painful)
i eat a reasonably balanced diet - my only weakness is white bread and i do sometimes skip breakfast (which i know is bad) plus i suffer from IBS and so have to limit my fruit and high fibre meals because if i don't keep the balance right i feel really tired and get terrible stomach pains.
im thinking of adding in weights/toning exercises 3 times a week, mainly for my thighs and arms.
simply im wondering if this lifestyle will help me loose weight effectively - my aim is 130lbs hopefully within a year.
any comments and/or tips would be appreciated.
