I have a Dr. that does not explain things very well and now I am left wondering what this mri means. I have no idea where to begin, so I came across this site and thought maybe I could get some help here(Hopefully:)) Below is what the mri says...If you could help me understand what is going on with my back I would be so grateful!!

THORACIC:
Findings: Vertebral body heights are preserved and the alignment is normal. There is disc desiccation and minimal loss of disc height T5-6 through T8-9. A lobular 1.1 x 0.7 cm T2/STIR signal hyperintense lesion is noted within the posterior aspect of the T7 vertebral body. This lesion is isointense on the T1 sequence. No additional osseous lesions are visible. No disc or paraspinal edema is noted.

Cord signal is normal.

At T5-6, focal right paracentral protrusion mildly flattens the anterior cord.

At T6-7, focal right lateral recess protrusion mildly flattens the right anterior cord.

At T7-8 left paracentral protrusion mildly flattens the left anterior cord.

At T8-9 Small protrusion mildly flattens the left anterior cord.

At T11-12 broad based right paracentral protrusion minimally effaces the ventral thecal sac without the mass effect on the cord.

IMPRESSION:
Multiple protrusions with mild mass effect on the cord as described.
Nonspecific T2/STIR hyperintense lesion within the T7 vertebral body may represent an atypical intraosseous hemangioma or neoplasm. Bone scan is recommended for further evaluation..

I have a ton of pain in my back and also some thigh nurabness. My leg is mostly nurab through out the day and also very weak to the point that I have fallen because when I go to stand I cant feel my leg. I have more to the mri but I thought it would be easier to post one section at a time. Thank you for your time.
