Would Jodi Picoult be a good author for a report?

I'm in 9th grade honors English. They excpect A LOT from honors students since were very intelligent. For english, we have to do a report on a famous author that writes books with a lot of depth. I have never read an of Jodi Picoult's books but I hear they are terrific. Would they be ok and fit my English class's standard?
 
Definitely, she's an AMAZING author! She studied writing in Princeton university and got a Masters in Harvard, and her books and characters are just SO real and unique!
 
yeah. she would qualify as good report material.
when i was going into 9th grade, "My Sister's Keeper" was on our required reading list for the summer...so im sure your fine
