Would it be weird to be disappointed that I wasn't pregnant even though we aren't TTC?

My hubby and I aren't actively trying to concieve, and are using birth control, but I may be pregnant. I have an appointment tomorrow for a blood test. Despite it not being the time we planned for, finacially it would be tight, me having to postpone schooling, and us being so young and newly weds and not knowing the first thing about raising a child, I feel like I'll still be disappointed if tomorrow all these symptoms I've felt are actually just in my head or something else. Is that normal?
