I got invited to a pool party by a member of the band playing at the party. I'll know a couple of people at the party but the people in the band are the only ones I know well enough to actually hang out with. Normally I'm pretty shy and stick to my own small group of friends. Would it be weird showing up at the party not knowing anyone? If it's not, can you give me some tips on how to break out of my shell?
