We work together, talk to each other when we have the chance and are around the same age. I would like to have a guy friend to hang out with since I've never had that but I get shy around guys since I don't hang out with them that much. I know I'm never going to get over this unless I'm around guys more but I'm afraid it'll be awkward or we wont have anything to talk about if we do hang out. Would he think I'm weird if I asked him to hang out with me since we've never talked outside of work? How should I ask him so he doesn't think its a date?
