Would it be weird if I added this girl as a friend on Facebook?

why don'tt you just add her. and if she asks who you are then tell her how you know her. i mean its not like she will act like your weird and laugh about it with her friends or tell everyone a weirdo added her. im not saying your weird but its just an add. so go for it

I know it is just Facebook, and it doesn't really matter, but it is the only way I can think of to contact her. I went to school with her in elementary and middle school, and we were good friends for a while, but then I moved away in the 8th grade, and I haven't seen or talked to her since. Well, today I found out that she actually goes to my college, but I have never seen her here. Would it be weird if I just added her as a friend? I'm kind of afraid she won't remember me, but I would like to see how she is doing.
