would it be weird for a high school student to do internship?

i will be a senior this september, and i am thinking of doing a one-month internship in the summer in a bank, just for a little experience and to see if i am really interested in studying the business/finance area as a major. plus, i would be staying at home anyways if i don't take this oppurtunity. but would it be kinda weird for a high school student to do so..? since ineterns are mostly for college students right..
