Would it be safe to push a single Kicker L5 12" with 1000 rms daily?

A Kicker L5 12" subwoofer has a rms rating of 600. Would it be safe to push it with 1000 rms? Its in a ported box. Currently building sealed. Give me some recomendations please :)

I have seen alot of people pushing 2000 rms on 2 kicker l5 12's before, but it doesnt mean its right. I dunno, i just want some opinions..
 
well the easy answer to this is no. you really do not want to put to much over its rms at all. Subs and amps are built and always say 1500 max! well if you hit that max, you will also bust your sub or fry your amp. well either way you should not be pushing over its RMS daily and for long periods of time.
