Would it be possible to grow Citrus Bergamia in a large pot indoors or outdoors?

I live in a one bedroom apartment and I plan on starting a small tea garden, and if it's possible, I'd like to grow some bergamot for my teas.

I live in a zone 5b region, so I don't think I would be able keep it outdoors year around. And I realize I'm probably really stretching the limits to try to grow this tree indoors, so I don't want to bring one home just to kill it, if it isn't even possible. I just haven't been able to find enough information on it, and I'm currently out of the country, so I can't check out my local farmer's market and ask.

Can someone tell me a little more about this tree, and what are the best conditions for it? I'll be able to move soon, so maybe I'd be able to grow it another time, heh (wishful thinking, I'm sure). ;)
