Would it be okay to have sex?

My wife had a c-section 5 weeks ago and just wondering if it would go on and be okay to have sex with protection of course! The reason she had a c-section was because her cervix would only dialate to 1 cm. and i know that you have to wait 6 weeks for the cervix to close all the way so her's has to be closed by now right? thanks for all the answers!
 
1 more week will not kill you. Wait 6 weeks, besides it being very painful for her, sex can actually cause damage if done too soon and too rough. Its not worth the risk, just keep it in your pants or in your hands..but either way out of your wife.
 
No, do not have sex. You need to wait the six weeks and THEN wait for the doctor to check her out and make sure everything is healed right, and THEN only when the doc says you can. Dude, get a love sock and make sure you wait (there could be complications you/she can't see/feel) until after her doctor says it's okay. Don't risk hurting the healing process!
