Would it be alright to skip on exercise tonight? I feel so guilty doing

it..but I'm tired..? I do 20 minutes on the elliptical every night along with other exercises like squats, lunges, situps etc.

I got home from an activity later then I wanted to and I'm tired...
I do my exercise at night..but not usually this late.. its 11:36pm..
I'm kind of tired.. I want to exercise..but I dont feel like I have the energy..

last night I just worked on the elliptical for 20 mins and some exercises for my butt, and abs
I didn't do any squats, lunges or any arm exercises..I don't wanna skip tonight because then I would of missed 2 days of exercise for those areas..

My goal is not to lose weight, but tone my muscles..
I'm already pretty toned..I just wanna maintain my muscles...Would skipping just this one night do any harm? I ate healthy today, I had lots of protein and vegetables..
