i was thinking about getting this setup, but i wanted to know if i needed a capacitor because i already replaced my alternator on my car and do not want to be spending 500 more on that again.

so if so what size should i get

thanks

No way... first off all, capacitors are totally useless dude! Only newbs would use them and say they are of use.

The biggest myths are that they "save" the alternator or battery. COMPLETE MYTH, 100 PERCENT FALSE. Also, it doesnt stop headlight dimming.

Plus, that setup you are looking at is COMPLETE rubbish, its about as bad as it gets... that amp probably only makes about 200 watts RMS, so your headlights wont even dim!

Save up for some real equipment.. sorry to sound harsh, its just that this stuff is such low quality junk, dont even waste your time.
