...business in this situation.? OK, it is obvious that in a general partnership the owner of the company is held liable for the stuff employees do.
However, my question is about limited liability partnerships. Let's say that I am the owner of a restaurant, and one of my employees commits a tort. Would I be liable? Would it come down to whether the employee was under my supervision or not?
Let's say that I am the owner, but do not supervise these employees but find managers to do it for me. Would I still be held liable in a LIMITED LIABILITY PARTNERSHIP with respect to employee actions.
respond if you are knowledgeable on the subject. Just curious
