Someone tried to rob me on the street at gunpoint, I gave the robber my money and as the robber was running away I shot and killed him.

Yes, it's hard to argue self defense when you shoot a dude in the back
If you could prove that you expected he would continue the attack; or that you definitely would die without that money.
You'd best not be a Liberal because then you go to jail anyway; cause it's the courts themselves that are robbing Liberals, at gunpoint, with censure.
For instance I survived what was arguably the worst battle in First Gulf War history from an individuals standpoint. I had my kidneys and gut removed on the battlefield and replaced so that I could continue the fight and save my fellow soldiers.
Then I got home to find I had to let the VA sue on my behalf for medical rights, because Kidneys are elective.
I won, no problem.
But then I had to keep the ex from "helping" a person with 6 bullet wounds to the head from giving it away against VA advice.
She sued. She won. Her friends got my new kidney money.
Can I shoot them ?
It was OK to shoot the Iraqi who shot me.
He was trying to profit from my death.
Is it OK to shoot the judge who likely shared the profits in that she will be better loved by those she "works for", because she took money and redistributed it against any and all rational best interests of a neurologically impaired soldier ?
Or, does she have the absolute right to put me in jail at hard labor for life (death) "for deadbeat daddy law violation" as I can't earn $30,000 a year as ordered ? Because I MIGHT even ask the question if I have the legal right to shoot back when I am being attacked like this and actively over a 15 year period prevented from getting medical insurance (been extradited or nearly so twice for getting lesser paying jobs that might nonetheless have paid something for medical procedures).

Clearly, in our society "SPUNK" is worth more than valor. And the Courts like the spunk of the switchblade over the guy asking for tally the banana so he and the wife can get home before they are beaten to death by the neighboring tribe they work with.
