im currently attending chabot college in hayward ca, it is a community college. for this year, i qualified for a $5,200 grant that i can spend on whatever i want, and plus i got a fee waiver for whatever and all classes that i want to take this entire year (not sure about summer courses though).
here is the problem, i really dont like the community college i go to, i want to leave as soon as possible. i heard people stay many years in community college and i dont know if i want to do that.
my question is, would i get more money from financial aid at a private college if basically i qualified for the most amount (i think) of financial aid that community colleges can give?
i want to see if i can afford going to a private college.
