I am 16 years old also about 135-140lbs. I just want a bike to play around on with my friends with mini bikes. I know the 125 is too small for me for racing and serious jumping (actually i dont think the 125 can do any serious jumping haha) but i just want something to play around on and plus they are cheap.

I wouldnt buy a 4 stroke dude, get a yz125 or something, you can get one for about the same price, you can play around with it and you can be serious on it if you want, i ride a cr 125 and im 15 and i wieght 130 and im 5'8, i hate the old 4 strokes and would never buy one. just my , a ttr125 is not a fast bike and isnt a bike to jump haha! its a little 4 stroke dude, and is a trail bike, not a motocross bike haha!

Dude don't listen to those two bone heads especially Justin whom thinks a TTR 125 is a fast track bike.Dude my riding mower can outrun that bike! Ha Ha No but for real, if all you want to do is putt around with your friends then that bike is fine. That is all it is good for though. If you try to take it to the track you will hurt yourself because the suspension is not set up for track conditions. It's just a trail bike. I had a 2000 YZ 125 and rode track and trails with that thing for years never had a problem. You might want to think if maybe in the near future your friends might want to start riding tracks. You'd be left out with that TTR, but if you got you a YZ you'd have the best of both worlds. Think before you buy.
