Would I be able to remote connect to my XP desktop from my Vista laptop + vice versa?

I just installed Vista Ultimate on my laptop. I had a home network set up, and it wouldn't work. I just couldn't see my desktop. I tried using remote desktop to connect from my Vista laptop to my XP desktop and it wouldn't work.

Then I tried again, and it worked. Then suddenly my home network worked. I have no idea what happened, but I have since been able to remote desktop from my XP desktop to my Vista laptop as well. Soooo, basically everything works the way I wanted it too all of a sudden...and I have no idea why it didn't before.

What he said...basically. I'm running XP and Vista in various combos at home and at the office, I can RDP into XP from Vista and vice versa. If you can't connect, double-check ur settings. They're both running the MS Terminal Services service...
