Would I be able to activate an AT&T phone while I have Verizon Wireless cell phone

service? i have an extremely old flip phone that is malfunctioning all the time now, for example, if it's on vibrating mode, it'll ring !
so i told my best friend that has a touch phone (but she has at&t service) that i hate the phone i have now. she told me she doesn't like hers either but i do haha. it doesn't flip or anything and the buttons are sorta like the LG Xenon but it comes in black and it doesn't flip at all, the whole thing is touch screen.
Well anyways, she said that if we find a way, she can find herself another phone and i can have hers. my parents right now don't have the luxury to actually buy me a great phone.
So is there a way ?

hmm tell me if im wrong but do you mean that you and your friend are gonna switch cell phones and carriers? so you will end up with att and she will be on verizon? if so then i dont see why not.. that is your descision..

if you mean that you want her phone on verizons network, no its not possible.. att uses sim cards and verizon does not, two completely different technologies so you couldnt have say the lg xenon on verizon..

oh and also if you are talking about having both a plan with verizon and a plan with att then yes again you can do that, but you would have to pay for two different phones which wouldnt be fun.. so yeah
