Would Heroes be better in anime?

I am a Heroes fan yes even I admit that the writing has not been great, the 2 half of Volume 3 is getting better though. I am asking do you guys think Heroes would do better in anime? They'd get a decent director in anime, some one from Dragon Ball Z or Naruto maybe. I'd love to see how they'd hanndle Peter/Sylars rivalry in all that
Sorry with that Twilight stuff I couldn't help but to wonder how it'd do as anime. Opinions?

Probably, since that way they could do more elaborate action scenes. Though, it's tough to say whether the action scenes in Heroes are horrible due to their special effects budget or the poor artistic direction, though. Many episodes of Heroes have actually gone over budget, so they're obviously wasting their money, as I have rarely seen an action scene on Heroes that hs wowed me. It's almost like they don't even want to bother doing action scenes and just expect us to be wowed by a character freezing someone or shooting lightning. I'd really like to see what they good do with a director who really knows how to shoot action scenes.

..1st they want a twilight anime & now this...Ive had enough scones sir, my ship sales in the morning!

..i guess its obvius my answer would be NO. I mean considering Hero's is just a B version of X-men (no offense to the show or its fans. )

I really don't see it working out as well as an anime as other comic properties would. But who knows anythings worth a shot.....I guess.

If the writing is anywhere near as abhorrent as the TV series is, then it would be a blight on animation. Heroes is one of the most poorly written shows on television (since season two), and it doesn't have much hope of getting better.

Best to keep that poison isolated to American live-action television.

No, Heroes would have been better with better writing. Anime won't help it.

Edit: also, it being like a live-action comic book was a huge part of the appeal to me. I'd always wanted to see an X-men TV series (as in, not a cartoon), and this was as close as I think I was going to get. Heroes' first season was GREAT, season 2 was OK, season 3 and beyond were AWFUL.

To be honest I think it's slightly more likely we would see an anime version of 24 or ER.

Both shows are huge hits on Japanese TV dubbed into Japanese... "Jack Bower" is a megastar for hard up Japanese housewives.
If they ever decide to make anime aimed squarely at middle aged middle class non-otaku viewers, those two shows would be #1 and #2 assuming fox and NBC agreed. And with NBC Universal Geneon now all one company, the rights issues for a Heros or an ER anime would be much simpler.

You say that as if there isn't a whole raft of anime based on comics already.

The show from which your screen name is derived, for instance.

Sure, if I wanted the show to become even more convoluted, and most likely end with a cop out. Personally, except for the first episode to Fugitives, and the road trip with Sylar from both chapters 2 and 4, the show is great. Problem is, they are just repeating the same plotlines now, just with a different flavor to them.
