Would having too many images on your computer cause your computer to perform slower?

Just wondering if maybe that's the reason why my dad's computer is so much more slow than mine.
 
try cleaning it
1st clean disk
2nd defrag
3rd a partial reboot you will need the window cd for that. if you don't have 1 it will coast about 100 us dollars
 
Not Really, It all Depends on how much Ram Gig you have on your computer. I have 12 Gig of Ram And i also have over 3000 Pictures on it. So If your Computer has Less then 5 gig then there is a possibility that too many pictures can run your computer slow. Hope i helped.
 
No. Pictures eat up space on the hard drive, not RAM space. If you have them all open at once, that's a different story.
