would exhaust pipes from a 1997 harley- davidson softail standard fit a 2005 harley

Thanks to those answers. I am lookin at buying after-market pipes from a guy qho has a 97 n I have an 05, just wanted to make sure they would fit my bike...
 
I think they will. My freind took pipes from 05 Heritage and they fit right up to 97 FXSTC, even though they have different engines.
