Would exercising in an oxygen-rich environment allow for better performance?

I apologize in advance if this doesn't make much sence... So during exercise, our bodies use oxygen in our blood to supply our muscles with energy, right? Well if your in an oxygen-rich environment, say a greenhouse (for the sake of the question) would your blood have more oxygen and therefore retain more energy?

well, i searched a bit, but not much came up. but i think you are rite, because remember how there was that big thing about the olympics being in beijing with all the pollution? they wanted to move it!!!
 
yes. pretty much, thats the same if you jog in a smog filled downtown area, you probably wont notice it, but youll drop in performance a bit.
