Would anyone like a DTV series based on the classic Sonic the Hedgehog ?

Considering he's created 8 (yes, 8) threads with Sonic as the subject matter I'm surprised your even leaving this open. There really isn't much to discuss here that hasn't already been discussed elsewhere.
 
Not really, but we've explored these thread topic in the past, and not too long ago. Restarting threads with the same topic won't drum up new interest.

I'm just saying because all threads ask pretty much the same thing, he's never had a discussion on shows, nor has he responded to PMs. As far as I know anyway.
 
Sonic's had four chances to make a decent TV show. He's botched them all. Let's at least give it a decade, so society can pleasantly forget the bad parts of the character before trying again.
 
You're the first person I know to have dissed Sonic AM. People say that was the best one.
Me, I really enjoyed Adventures of Sonic, but that's because I got to see that the most. The other barely ran in global syndication.
 
A decade is a bit long, but they should at least wait until four years have passed since Sonic X, and then try something that is more faithful to the old video games.


I liked that series because I thought it was the funniest and most interesting. Then again, I have not seen most of its episodes since the 1990s. If it really was as bad as many people say it was, I was unable to recognize its faults.
 
See...that's what bothers me. Not that the periphery characters of Sonic X are recognized as crap (because they are), but that Sonic Archie's periphery characters get a free pass because OMG they're furry freedom fighters and they're stopping the evil humans and wow I hope Sonic hooks up with that squirrel with the bewbs they're so kawaii together! ^_^

Should a DTV series based on the part of the Sonic series that has little to no story be made?

No. Not really. I may be in the minority here, but I think that some animated movies based on the recent console Sonics would be hardcore.
 
It would have been much better without Chris, in particular. He must have been one of the most annoying cartoon characters of all time. Something about the idea of a human child befriending and wanting to stay with Sonic bothered me.
