Would anyone else be intrested in a sequel to "28 Weeks Later"?

I watched this last week on the tv & thought it was a pretty good follow up to "28 Days Later".The ending to the film left the door opened for a sequel.I'm guessing it would be called "28 Months Later" but i don't know if that would be taking the storyline too far.

I'd definitely welcome a sequel. I actually prefer 'Weeks' to 'Days'.

Watching a film about the virus spreading all over Europe has the potential to be great.

I would rather have a prequel this way it will be an all British cast (like the first one). The major thing that ruined the sequel is the film company giving in to the majority of the America movie goer's stubborn stance against all foreign cast list movies. And this is one reason 28WL was inferiour to it's predecessor. It was "Americanised" for their market!. Now if there is a sequel and it has NO Americans in it then I will support it.

I really liked 28 days later and wanted to know what happened to the 3 that were left. I was disappointed in 28 weeks later as I hated those bratty kiRAB. Selfish idiots! I thought the storyline about the immunity was good though. I thought the film had some interesting points, like the lady trying to save the little boy, then her husband running off and leaving her. I am not sure about a prequel as it would be too similar to the I am Legend prequel that is being made. If they are going to Americanise the 28 films, why not just set 28 months later in the states?

I preferred "Weeks" to "Days". I'm not sure what they'd do with "Months". There's no point in remaking the situation in "Weeks" where the virus has been beaten but revives itself. And I don't think it makes much sense to show the world several years after it has been ravaged. That can be good with slow zombies, because they never give up, but these fast ones just starve to death after a month. It's just be an empty post-holocaust world.

Thought Days was Ok. Really enjoyed Weeks. Certainly preferred it to Sunshine which Danny Boyle jumped ship to direct instead.

28 Weeks.. was one of the stupidest films I've ever seen.

Near enough every single event after the intro sequence was driven by a ridiculous decision or ridiculous circumstance. I couldn't enjoy the film because of it.

And, as a Londoner, the route they took through the city was just nonsensical.

The weird thing about 28 Days Later is that it's only the first half that's any cop. The second half, which seems overly concerned with saying trite things about power and authority, is utter rubish. Silly soldiers running around a mansion shooting pop-up zombies.

The sequel worked better as a cohesive whole.
