This could include the history of archives, the relationships between records and their users in the past, the production of medieval manuscripts, how manuscripts were managed/used in the past etc. I'm most interested in the late medieval period. A typical topic would be 'women and manuscripts in the later medieval period'. Ideally I'd have liked to have done that very topic, but someone else did it just a few years ago so I need something similar but new!
