After the final practice for any given Nationwide or Sprint Cup race, I'll post a "question" asking you to predict the Top 5, and the winner. So, you'd look at the practice speeds and qualifying order, weigh in past finishes and other factors, and make your prediction.

Your prediction would look something like this (example):

Top 5: Ryan Newman, Kyle Busch, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Greg Biffle, Kasey Kahne.
Winner: Biffle

Only your "winner" has a specific finishing place. For the other four, order does not matter.

It would be scored like a lottery drawing in that the more correct predictions you make, the more points you get. Each Top 5 finisher you correctly predicted would earn you 5 points. If you correctly predict the winner, you get an extra 15.

Using the same example... if Newman, Biffle, and Kahne were to all finish in the Top 5, but none of them got the win, you'd receive 15 points. If Greg Biffle were to win the race, you'd earn 30 points.
Also using the same example... if all five of your predicted drivers made Top 5, but your Biffle did not win, you'd earn 25 points. If Biffle won, you'd earn 40 points.

If your whole Top 5 really does make the Top 5 for the actual race, you automatically earn an extra 30 points, even if your winner did not win. If your winner DID win, you earn an extra 45 points (because correct winner earns you an extra 15). That is on top of the points you earn normally, so if your prediction was spot on, your final score for that race would be 70 points.

When the race for the chase begins, the way the game is scored will be a little different.

Anyway, this is just a question to find out who is interested in participating. I'll make an official game page with the rules a little clearer if enough of you want to play. It sucks that I'm coming up with this so late into the season, but it can still be tons of fun! If you're interested, post here and leave your first name.
Note: There will be separate games for the Nationwide and Sprint Cup series'.
