would an unlocked sidekick lx blade work in australia?

I've wanted this phone for a while but i can't find anything like it in australia and also they are not bringing it over to australia anymore. If it wouldn't work here then are there any phones like it in australia (not including the hiptop and webslider)?
 
Sidekick LX Blade Frequency Bands: 850/900/1800/1900 GSM/GPRS/EDGE
Check with your Australian service provider to make sure they use one or more of these frequencies.
Note: This is not a CDMA Phone.
