would a pregnancy test show positive...?

Yes it would show if you are pregnant...Although if you only took one test maybe something was wrong with it maybe you should go get another. If you are still doubtful go to the doctor and get a blood test. I found out I was pregnant with a cheap drugstore test. When I found out the 1st time I was just over 4 weeks and with this 2nd pregnancy a little over 5 weeks. Good luck!
 
make a doctors appointment.when i was preggers with my first child, i took several home test. they all said negative. went to the doctor and had a urine test there it came back negative, so doctor did blood test and it was positive. so you cant rely on those test you pee on.
 
if i was only 5 weeks pregnant? i took a pregnancy test today and it showed negative. i know its too early for symptom's. and i don't believe my insurance will cover a pregnancy test so i need to buy them. but i also haven't gotten my period this month too. when would be the best time to take the pregnancy test again?
 
I think 5 weeks is soon enough. I was pregnant once and I didn't know it, all the at home tests showed negative. Then i went to get a blood test which confirmed my pregnancy. Sometimes it doesnt show up thru the urinal test.
