I've been through 2 amps already a 200 watt rockford fosgate amp which I blew in less than a week. and a kicker 1000 watt amp which clips worse than the fosgate amp did. I have an aquantaince who will sell me a kicker kx 600.1 for $90 this will put each of my subs up to 300 rms maybe 350 which is just below par (13w3 optimum level rms is 400 rms says their website) I really don't want to blow my subwoofers so I keep them underpowered but I'm fairly certain 600 rms is going to be plenty loud enough for me. Will this be a good setup?
would a kicker kx 600.1 be a good amp for 2 jl 13w3 (4ohms)?
