Ok I really want to buy a bike & I'd be a first time owner.I have been told that a Kawasaki ninja 250r is. Great bike to start off with. Only one problem I'm 6"8 190 lbs. Am I too tall for this bike if so what kind of bike should I get...your advice would be greatly appreciated thanks all.

If I were you, I'd look at the Ninja 650R or 650ER. Tjey are also great beginner bikes, but with more size and power. The 250 is a perfect bike to learn on and for smaller people, but you will eventually trade it in.

You would soon learn to hate that bike. Take a course, you'll get to try out different size bikes. I started with a 1000 because when I learned to ride, the common belief was to learn on the biggest bike you could fit on because after that, you could do anything on a smaller bike.

At your height, you will be cramped on any sport bike. Look into a full size cruiser, (900-1600cc) and you will probably want forward extensions on your foot controls. They are much better behaved than sport bikes and you will save a ton on insurance. I recommend the honda shadow 1100 for a first bike. It is cheap(ish) and extremely reliable. Good Luck!

way to big, but if you must have something of that nature get a ninja 500, but if you want alittle torquey sports bike without having a rocket between your legs, you could always get a katana 750. they have a 600 and a 750. but the 750 isnt no monster power bike, but it will get you around pretty good
