would a kawasaki kx 250 stator work on a kdx 250 same year?

found a cheap kx 250 stator for my 1992 kdx 250.....im assumin it will work, will it?
 
yes...but you might have to change connector...there will be an extra wire or two on the kdx stator because kdx is enduro so it has a lighting coil on the stator and the kx does not have this....will work and wow...now you can put a headlight and tail light on your kx
