Does anyone think starting a small Funnel Cake business could be lucrative? My mother always told me that a bakery could be a profitable business because the main ingredients are affordable.
I am thinking of starting a little booth that stays open late (for all you late night snackers) and makes nothing but fresh and hot Funnel Cakes! They would be affordable and offered with different types of toppings like strawberry, powdered sugar, cinnamon and sorts of different fruits. I live in a highly populated "college town" and the big thing around here is Starbucks, Yogurt shops and there is only one late night donut shop but they are horrible and do not offer anything fresh at night.
What do you think? I know I'm not going to get "rich" with it but I just want to start a small business so that I do not have to work anymore and I can have something to call my own.
