Would a Dragonfish get along with a Black ghost knife fish?

I'm thinking of getting a black ghost knife fish to add to my aquarium. There's one at the pet shop near by, and it's calling my name.

However, I have a Semi-large dragonfish and a kind of cranky pleco. The dragonfish and pleco often fight after feeding time, which never lasts long, but can get kind of wild. I have a smaller dragonfish who keeps to himself and stays in his own little hiding place until he comes out to grab a bite to eat. There's a pink gourami, and a blue gourami in there also, who get along great.

My main concern is my dragonfish/pleco. Would they trouble my black ghost? He'd have his own hiding place. Just need an oppinion

Is that your dragon fish? There are so many fish that go by that name... Thats a dragon goby or violet goby.

Thats another one. Usually called dinosaur birchir though. Sometimes dragon. Its a type of birchir.

The violet goby is very peaceful. He shouldnt bother the ghost knife if thats what you have. Although, the violet goby needs a brackish setup... The knife wouldnt like that too much. The birchir... Eh, they usually nip at slow moving fish... I wouldnt chance that match. The arowana... Definitely not. These things grow to 36 inches and will outgrow the knife and eat it.

I love ghost knives too, but they are so peaceful that most fish will actually harass them to death. I wouldnt chance it with the pleco though. Plecos arent a good choice for any wide bodied fish. Plecos attach themselves to the sides of fish and suck on their slime coating.

Realize ghost knives grow up to 18 inches easy. And youll need at least a 75-90 gallon tank just to house the ghost knife. If you have less than that, look over the knife. If you have just that... Even then, your pleco will take up the space of a 75 gallon. If you want several large fish, youll need a much larger tank.
