Would a British-hosted World Cup be a good idea?

The man who would be king

I haven't heard this idea mentioned yet. I think it would be unique to have 4 different cultures within one World Cup. Plus there's more than enough stadiums already in place. And it would be the only way the World Cup could ever come to Scotland, Wales, or N. Ireland, as they couldn't host it on their own. Maybe more exciting than just an England bid?

millinem stadium, wembley, hampden, parkhead, ibrox, old trafford, anfield, why not. britain is the home of football. bring football home.

Baloney to Bollocks! I think you could have games in Hampden, Parkhead and Ibrox, and that's just Glasgow.

You may not think much of the SPL, but they likely have enough stadia to assist in a WC bid, and Ireland likely has a few game-worthy stadia as well.

You didn't really give your answer much thought, did you bollocks?

I think that's a good idea, but I don't know that it will ever happen.

No. Only England is ever capable of hosting the World Cup in the UK & Scotland & Wales should pay for it seen as we are paying their way.

You would never see FIFA allow 4 countries automatic qualification to the finals as host nations.
They may allow games to be played at Scottish, Welsh or Northern Irish venues but Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland may not be playing.
