Please answer YES/NO/DEPENDS according to number

1) Stalling after riding it for about 10-15 minutes
2) Not restarting after it stalls
3) Killing the battery during the ride
4) Killing the battery when trying to restart after a stall
5) Backfiring through the carbs while running

My guess is that it's heating up somehow, either from being bad or engine heat and it is causing these problems. I'm not that schooled of a bike mechanic to know for sure. Keep in mind the coils are 28 years old.

Also, stator, rectifier, and battery are new and there are NO shorts in the wiring.

YES to all of those
AND so would a bad regulator too but you've replaced them.
also check the ignition stitch for VERDI GREASE the green gum stuff
and also the kill switch too for integrity
