would a aftermarket car audio receiver fit right in my 2009 lancer?

I currently have a 2009 mitsubishi lancer, and im preparing to install a full aftermarket sound system (new sony receiver, 2 10 inch slim line sony subs, 4 infinity speakers for the doors, and a 800w sony amp). I would like to know if i get a aftermarket receiver, would i have a gap where the audio display unit is located? and if so, how would i be able to resolve this issue so it looks professional and not like trash. or if anyone has a different solution, please give your opinion and your ideas, there greatly appreciated
