...(16)? Ok,I turn 16 in a few months, i have seen the new camaro and am loving the way it looks...i have no idea how it drives...i have heard that it can go about 110 if electronically limited but i wasnt sure...im not looking at an SS or 2SS or something Super expensive like that...i doubt im getting seeing as how the insurance would be astronomical and the fact that they are about 20 grand or so just for the base model...i just wanted to get some opinions and different points of view...and if you happen to own a new camaro could you please tell me what you think of it.. Thanks guys for the help.

I don't think that the 2010 Camaro LS (Base model, V6, 304 horse power) will be a good car for you because it will be too tempting for you to see how fast it will go and you will get too many speeding tickets and also have to pay a lot for insurance. There is also the drawback that it doesn't have a good rating for how many miles per gallon of gas it has. I suggest you buy a good used car and one that gets at least 35 MPG combined city and highway mileage. When you buy a new car you loose money on it when you drive it off the lot because it depreciates immediately and becomes a used car and you also have to pay the vehicle license fee and tax which drives up the price. I drive a 2005 Toyota Prius and I get a combined 37.5 MPG and it is a dream to drive.

I don't think any 16 year old should drive a new car. I think they should be forces to drive something al least 10 to 15 years old for the first two years that they drive. That way they can prove if they can drive or not. That way the insurance rates won't keep going up because irresponsible drivers are not turning insurance claims in on cars that they should not have anyway...
