Would a 1999 Toyota Corrolla with 175,000 miles be ok to buy?

You tell us.

We can't see the car.

We can't inspect it.

We can't carfax it.

Etc.

So how would we know anything about the car, or be able to determine if it's "ok" to buy?

And mileage tells you nothing, so there's no point in even mentioning that.

Edit: It has a good car fax. It hasn't had any accidents and it has passed all of its emissions tests.

That still tells us nothing.

The car is mint condition, has new brakes, tires, and a good e-check. The price is $2,999. Would that be a good buy?

sounds like the price should be dropped a bit. but yes that isn't that many miles for a toyota just make sure it was kept up well and do a compression check or leak down test.
